Who we are

Centerpoint is a member-run peer collective that hosts independent online services for its community. This policy covers the Centerpoint member platform at centerpoint.vidur.xyz and related authentication flows operated on behalf of the collective.

Individual services in the directory may be operated by different members. Each service may maintain its own practices; this policy describes the collective platform unless stated otherwise.

Our privacy principles

  • Privacy is a core value, not a compliance checkbox or a product feature.
  • We do not track members for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.
  • We do not sell, rent, or broker personal data to third parties.
  • We collect only what is needed to operate member access, security, and platform reliability.
  • Members should retain meaningful control over their identity and data within the collective.

Information we process

Account and identity

When you sign in, our identity provider (Zitadel) processes information such as your email address, display name, authentication events, and group membership used for access control. Session data is used to keep you signed in to member areas of the platform.

Operational and security data

We may process standard server logs (for example IP address, request timestamp, user agent, and error records) to protect the platform, debug incidents, and maintain availability. These logs are used for operations and security, not marketing analytics.

Platform usage

Features such as the service directory, status page, and onboarding tools may store progress or preferences tied to your account so the collective can provide the service you requested.

What we do not do

  • No third-party advertising networks or ad trackers.
  • No commercial behavioral analytics or cross-site tracking.
  • No sale or licensing of member data for revenue.
  • No requirement to accept surveillance in exchange for membership.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use cookies for commercial tracking. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Retention

We retain account-related data for as long as your membership is active and as needed to operate the platform. Operational logs are kept for a limited period appropriate to security and troubleshooting, then deleted or aggregated.

Sharing and processors

We use infrastructure and software operated by or on behalf of the collective (for example hosting, databases, and identity services). These processors act only to provide the services described here, not to monetize member data.

We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect the security of members and the collective.

Your choices

You may request access to or correction of account information through established member channels. You may stop using member services and request account removal subject to the collective's membership processes.

Changes

We may update this policy as the collective's services evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of member services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
