Centerpoint
Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Centerpoint member platform and related collective services. By creating an account or using member services, you agree to these terms.

Nature of the collective
Centerpoint is a peer collective of members who voluntarily operate and use shared infrastructure and services. The platform is provided as a community resource, not as a commercial product from a single corporate provider.
References to "we," "us," or "the collective" mean Centerpoint as a community entity. Individual members may operate specific services; their actions are not automatically attributable to every other member.
Eligibility and membership
Access is invitation-based and limited to members approved by the collective. You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Membership may be suspended or ended for conduct that harms the collective, other members, or the integrity of shared systems, as determined through the collective's governance processes.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use collective services to:
- Violate applicable law or infringe the rights of others.
- Compromise the security, availability, or privacy of the platform or other members.
- Distribute malware, conduct unauthorized scanning, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Use shared resources in ways that materially degrade service for others without collective approval.
- Re-share member-only access, credentials, or content outside the collective without permission.
Individual services may publish additional rules. Where those rules conflict with these terms, the more specific service rules apply for that service.
Services and third parties
The directory links to services operated by members or on behalf of the collective. Those services are provided "as is" and may change, move, or be withdrawn without notice. The collective does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any particular service.
Authentication is provided through Zitadel. Use of member services may also be subject to the terms of underlying software and infrastructure providers.
No warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, collective services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of liability
Centerpoint is a collective-based service. The collective, as a community entity, does not assume liability or responsibility for the acts, omissions, content, or conduct of individual members beyond what is expressly shared and agreed by the community as a whole.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither the collective nor individual members acting in a personal capacity shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use collective services.
Where liability cannot be fully excluded, aggregate liability of the collective for claims relating to the platform shall be limited to the greater of zero or amounts you paid directly to the collective for the relevant service in the twelve months preceding the claim (typically none for member-provided community services).
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the collective, to the extent agreed by community governance, against claims arising from your misuse of services, violation of these terms, or infringement of third-party rights through your conduct.
Privacy
Our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy. By using member services you acknowledge those practices.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms as the collective evolves. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access to protect the collective or comply with law.
General
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms constitute the agreement between you and the collective regarding use of the member platform.
Disputes should first be raised through established member governance channels before any external proceedings, where permitted by law.
